Hydro and Diabolic are two emcees from Toledo, Ohio. Largely influenced by Psychopathic Records and old school gangsta rap, Hydro and Diabolic have some new and original sounds, beats and lyrics to offer to their audience.
Ya ‘ll Ain’t Ready is a rhythmic and offensive track aimed at the haters.
Hydro and Diabolic can be categorized as rebellious, anti conformists and anti commercial. Original and determined to take over lyrically and instrumentally, Hydro and Diabolic will surprise you with their well combined raspy voices and instrumentals.
Fuck The Society…rebels like me could only like a song like this one!
Violins, keyboards, castanets alike sounds introduce the song like an invitation to stand up for your rights.
Let the rhythm and instrumentals transport you into the « raise your middle finger atmosphere ». Both rappers are courageous enough to speak their minds. Fuck the system, fuck politicians who are all about the money, yea say it loud: « Fuck Bush who only brings pain and trouble into this world »
I think it is time to praise artists who have the courage to be politically engaged against President Bush.
Another Day is all about underground artists’ harsh struggle. I’m feeling you guys, it is sometimes so hard when your dream job doesn’t pay you a penny while you’re struggling to make it, suffering on minimal wage jobs and feeling pain and hunger. Politicians maintain you at a low level while you are perfectly conscious of your genuine value.
Touching and well handled lyrically.

Both emcee’s incisive lyrics and engaged style probably won’t leave you indifferent.

Eminem might adopt Whitney Hartter soon
For those who don’t know: Whitney is Kim’s second child with Eric Hartter.
Kim got pregnant in 2001 and Whitney was born on May the 26th, 2002.
Things went quite complicated when Kim went back with Marshall, six months after the birth of her daughter. Despite the fact Eric Hartter, an ex convict on the run who was facing drug charges, had few chances to ever obtain his daughter’s custody or even some visitation rights, Eric’s mom, Mary was suing for Whitney’s custody.
When he went back with Kim, Eminem always had the will to raise Whitney as his own daughter.
Some people were curious about the line taken out of when I’m Gone:
« Hailie just smiles and winks at her little sister ».
They wondered about who the little sister mentioned in the song could possibly be, since Eminem referred to Alaina as his second daughter. Whitney is Hailie’s half sister and the little sister mentioned in Eminem’s song.
A few years ago, Marshall adopted his niece Alaina who is Dawn (Kim’s twin sister)’s daughter. She became his daughter legally and goes by the surname Mathers.
The Mathers family might be enriched with a new member soon, if the info revealed by the following website is true.
Eminem recently declared that he intended to remarry Kim. Apparently, he also wants to give Whitney his name and to raise her as his own child.
Marshall loves the little girl and wants her to be full part of his family:
“I’m in love with that girl, man. She’s so sweet and funny”. (Eminem)
Three daughters for Marshall? This might soon become a reality.
For those who doubted it, Eminem is very much family oriented. He is a wonderful family man, a dedicated dad and good big brother, which fully honors him.

Organized Rhyme Syndicate: share their passion for rhyming
Organized Rhyme Syndicate, that sounds quite corporate. In fact, the group is composed of four emcees from Madison : Jesse The Mind, Explicit, Emotion, Joe Terribly.
All of them are white, but don’t confuse them with Eminem. Their style is very much different.
Have You Ever is all about achieving one’s goal. The song exposes the emcees’ struggles to make it and how much their desire grows stronger.
The dimension of the song is strongly anti commercial. It has some good instrumentals and beats.
Well handled lyrically, the song is unfortunately spoilt with the little electronic voice in the background as far as I am concerned (I know, it has become usual to add those features in rap music, but I don’t like them at all).
Too Much is a raw song that is all about drinking, smoking and thinking too much. Keyboards and catchy beats invite you into the insane dimension of the song. The whole atmosphere is quite surrealistic and well handled.
Rain will tell you about rainy days. Sounds of pouring rain in the background, some good beats and emcees who are ready to punch you lyrically. The song is highly enjoyable.
Hold Me Now could be improved. I didn’t like the beats nor the background sounds. It looks like they spoil the lyrical atmosphere of the song.
Maybe this song is too soft in my opinion.
The four songs exposed on their my space account are not representative of Organized Rhyme’s Syndicate work. There are more songs to discover on their official website.

I had an accident today…
It happened next to my home on a road that I know very well…I was walking on the way to the city. While crossing the road, a car hit me. I was so much surprised because the car was supposed to stop.
I fell onto the floor and started yelling loud. The conductor, a woman, jumped out of the car and apologized. I wasn’t angry at her, but I admit that within one second I thought that this would be my last day.
I had to go to the hopital and I have a broken sacrum…My right foot hurts a little bit…
The reason why I posted this: this little accident made me realize, more than ever, that life is precious. Stop complaining about little disagreements and live each day as if it was your last. Live your life to the fullest and rejoice instead of making angry faces…
Today’s accident was a little lesson for me. Thanks to you all for reading:)
The People VS/ Trick Trick album review
Rating: 4 stars and a half
Underground jewel, definitely worth your buy.
When you have been charged with an M-1 (slang term for « first degree murder charge »), it looks like the whole world is against you. Trick Trick introduces the album with his M-1 track that symbolizes the State of Michigan vs. Christian Mathis. Back in 2003, Trick Trick had been charged with felony firearm and was facing a first degree murder charge. The case went on trial in February 2004, but would be adjourned later on and the charges against Christian Mathis would be eventually dropped.
The introduction starts dramatically with some bell sounds, violins and gunshots in the background. Accusers are here and point their finger at Trick Trick.
M-1 follows with a very entertaining rhythm. Piano, keyboards and violins introduce the dramatic circumstances of Trick Trick’s arrest and trial. The atmosphere is overheated and you can feel Trick Trick’s struggle to prove that he’s the wrong one.
No need to introduce Welcome To Detroit featuring Eminem. The masterpiece was played on nearly each Detroit radio station for months and fully introduces you to the gangsta atmosphere of the Detroit hood.
My Name Is Trick Trick is Christian’s entry. Violins, keyboards, claps are a joyful introduction of a Detroit O.G.
Trick Trick’s raw voice makes the track particularly pleasant.
Better believe the hype is real.
Rich of two different styles, track 5, Attitude Adjustment will marry Trick Trick with Jazze Pha’s southern style. Very beautiful and original style that shouldn’t leave the listeners indifferent.
Big Mistake featuring Mr Porter has the raw sound of the D12 Underground EP bassline that contrats with Denaun Porter’s R’n’B sounding voice combined with Trick Trick’s raspy voice.
Nice gangsta song aimed at the beloved ones that have been lied to.
No More To Say is written on a sophisticated rhythm. Featuring Eminem and Proof, dramatic and definitely gangsta, the song is a warning against people running their mouths.
A track that is very much representative of the streets of Detroit.
Leave Your Past is dedicated to Christian Mathis’ homies. The rhythmic track mixed up with keyboards, claps and soft vocals will introduce you into a nostalgic dimension. The song sounds like prayer and gives the listener a very nice and soft soul music note. An invitation to forget about the dramas of hood life.
Lady, track 9, also softens Trick Trick’s harsh Detroit style.
More romantic, it expresses regrets to the lady of his life.
Let’s Roll is another beautiful Mr Porter- Trick Trick duo written for a party atmosphere.
Before the release of Trick Trick’s album, I had already listened to his nice and rhythmic track « Get Bread ». You gotta love this « hustling style » song. You gotta « get bread » when you live in the hood. Beautiful, raw, rhythmic, the listeners will enjoy a track that fully represents the Detroit ghetto.
Sucha is a quite sarcastic track aimed at the wankstas. If you’re such a gangsta why you fake so much? Better watch your back in front of real killas!
The two last songs War and What Da FXXX feature two other Detroit talents, Obie Trice and Ms Korona (the female emcee that was opposed to Xzibit in 8 Mile).
Globally, Trick Trick’s album is excellent. It is well handled lyrically and instrumentally. I recommend this album to any hip hop lover and particularly to those who are very fond of a raw Detroit gangsta style. Trick Trick doesn’t have to fake himself. He has the credibility and the talent.
The album is an underground jewel that is definitely worth your buy. I promise you that Trick Trick won’t disappoint you.
