Ricky Thug: mixing up softness with a thuggish spirit
Ricky Thug was born in Kingston, Jamaica. He moved to Brooklyn at the age of 12. Ricky Thug has developed an original style of his own.
In fact, the artist manages to combine soft elements with a harsh gangsta atmosphere.
Is A Problem begins with a scary melody. Electric guitar and keyboard sounds will make you feel the insecure ambiance.
Picture a gangsta in the hood. Ricky Ricky that boy is a problem! Better watch your back.
Gangsta starts with some trumpet sounds and some rhythmic beats. Ricky Thug allows you to enter into his straight up G world. Enjoy his fast flow delivery
Talk Like This is introduced by soft instrumentals and scratches sounds and followed by Ricky Thug’s incisive words. Ricky Thug is addressing to his homies. The rhythmic and definitely gangsta track is highly enjoyable.

Mr Miggs was born in Chicago in 1980. As a young kid, he moved with his mom to LA. Music has always been part of his life, but what Mr Miggs’ preference clearly goes to hip hop:
« Music has always been my strongest interest even at a young age I tought myself how to play piano and then moved on to play in jazz band, as well as symphonic band in high school and eventually moved on to hip hop which has always been my most favorite form of musical expression. You’ll see that in my lyrics… you’ll hear it in my songs… »

Thugged Out: no doubt!
Playa Hater is aimed at all the weak ass haters and makes them look ridiculous. P Doz shows some good flow delivery. His lyrical skills could be improved a little bit on this track, though.
The Virgo Child is a very rhythmic track in which P Doz will share his life and life struggles with you. Well handled, the track is enjoyable from the beginning to the end.
The Place Where I Dwell has some good soul funky James Brown flavor. Let the trumpets and the beats take over and invite you to dance on the rhythmic track. Enjoy the very descriptive track that fully describes life in the D.

Why it is actually better to give than to receive…
Many people in this world make-consciously- the choice to be takers. What is a « taker »? A « taker » is a person who likes to benefit from other people’s gifts. Some « takers » also like to selfishly take advantage from other people without giving anything or very few things in return.
I do think that takers’ reward already lies in what they manage to take from others. However, I consider taking as a temporary joy.
As a kid, I used to like gifts, but didn’t envision a real pleasure in giving something away by myself.
However I have matured a lot in the meantime and while discovering my passion for writing and music journalism, I have experienced the joy of giving much more. Writing in itself is a great joy, but it is multiplied by thousand when I know that the stuff I put on paper is read by people all over the world and that it is often useful to them.
I actually feel happy when an artist asks me for a review, reads it and is totally satisfied with it. His « thank you » is worth a million to me. Promoting his music and letting people know about his art is indeed a rewarding activity for the artist himself, but above all for myself.
Next time you hesitate between offering and receiving a gift, picture the joy of the person whom you’d prepare a surprise. You guessed it: the joy that illuminates your fellows’ face is certainly the greatest enrichment you could get. The more you are willing to give, the more you receive in return: more than a theory, this divine law could be verified as true and will make a happy person of anybody who is willing to apply to it.
Meet Lil Eazy E, RIP Eric Wright’s eldest son
Like his notorious father , Compton legend EazyE aka Eric Wright, Eric Wright JR aka Lil Eazy E keeps his passion for the streets of Compton alive.
To those who might keep asking, Lil Eazy E is familiar with the streets of Compton. He lived in the same place his dad did. Lil Eazy E spent a lot of time and energy working on an album entitled The Prince Of Compton:
« A lot of people probably think that I lived in Riverside, Northridge or in the Valley somewhere. They didn’t know that I was born and raised in the same house as my father, the oldest of nine kids. We were all together. We were a big family. I lived the same life my father lived. I’m representing that and giving it to you on The Prince of Compton. »
(Lil Eazy E)
Lil Eazy E’s album, The Prince of Compton, is due to release in early 2006, so expect some hot music very soon. Lil Eazy E doesn’t sound exactly like his father. In fact, he uses different combinations of sounds and influences and comes up with a brand new sound.
A major Eazy E influence and a little bit of New Orleans flavor from his mom’s side define Lil Eazy’s typical flavor. Lil Eazy E also learnt a lot from NWA legends Mc Ren, DJ Yella, Dr Dre and Ice Cube.
You will be able to listen to a few Lil Eazy tracks on the following my space account.
In his That Fire song, Lil Eazy will give you that specific thuggish flavor and revive the Westcoast gangsta rap legacy. The track is introduced by some flutes and Lil Eazy E is ready to take over the streets of Compton with an agile flow delivery and some obvious skills.
They Know Me is written in a different style and enriched with a rich musical background made of violins, keyboards and very rhythmic beats.
Keep it real with Lil Eazy. The track is aimed at people who questioned Lil Eazy’s credibility as an emcee. Not only is Lil Eazy an O.G, he can spit and brings up some real street credibility into his tracks. Feel the reality of the streets of Compton. Still screaming « Fuck The Police », the streets of Compton have heard of a certified gangsta named Lil Eazy E, Eazy E’s true successor who fully represents the Compton hood.
Coming from Compton is written is a darker style with a pinch of NWA influence. Lil Eazy E has a good flow delivery and spits with confidence.
People who are fond of the Westcoast sound will probably like Lil Eazy E.
Rappers relatives are not always gifted for rap music, but Lil Eazy will convince you with his talent, his true gangsta style and his lyrical skills.
Be ready for the Prince Of Compton: the album promises to be very good. Eazy E and his fellows from the NWA crew put Compton on the map; Lil Eazy’s music is in the continuity of the NWA spirit and true NWA lovers will enjoy Lil Eazy E’s talent.
