A couple of cowards against Eminem

Hailie Jade, Eminem’s daughter is one of the most popular kids in the music industry. The world knows her since she is 2 and a half. The song ‘ 97’ Bonnie and Clyde ‘ is Hailie’s first introduction into the world of music.
In Eminem’s music, Hailie personifies the innocence, the love and the complicity she shares with her devoted Daddy. By using his daughter’s voice, Marshall wants to show the whole world how much proud he is of her. It is also an expression of gratitude towards the little girl, whose birth increased her father’s will to become a rapper.
Hailie is only 8 years old, but she already has some adult enemies. Why ? Simply because she is Marshall’s daughter. Some adult rappers have decided to diss her in their hateful war of words against Eminem, with the intention to defeat the best MC. Because they perfectly know that words against his daughter will involve a lot of feelings and emotions, they think that those poisened words will bring him down and defeat him.
How would you describe grown men who dare attacking an innocent little girl ?
I’d call them cowards and losers with no life.
The first to target Hailie in a song in 1999 is New York rapper Everlast who became Eminem’s enemy because he thought Marshall refused to greet him. In one of his songs, he makes a dicrete and indirect allusion to Marshall’s little girl (who was only 4 years old at this time) :
“Cock my hammer, spit a comet like Halley.”
Marshall fired back in the well known D12 song ‘ Quitter ‘ :
‘Quitter and you bitter cuz I came along
And your days of house of pain are gone
If you talk about my little girl in a song again
I’ma kill you (I’ma kill you)…’

Everlast’s attacks against Hailie were followed by more vicious and mean attacks. Detroit underground rapper Esham dared talking about ‘putting Hailie’ in a coma in a song called ‘Chemical Imbalance’:
‘They won’t let me on MTV I’d beat up Carson Daly
And remind Eminem of D’Angelo Bailey
Haley’s in a coma, Haley’s in a coma
I smell the aroma, of a dead body
Chemi-cal imbalance Chemi-cal imbalance
Chemi-cal imbalance Chemi-cal imbalance
Drugs, thugs, slugs, niggaz get plugged
At a early age up in Detroit, nigga what?!’

As Swifty pointed it out in a former interview, this looks more like a desperate publicity stunt attempt than anything else.
It is also so obvious that Ja Rule and Benzino’s motivations are jealousy and personal ambitions.
Ja Rule went mad his rival 50 Cent was signed to Shady Records. He intended his attack to be personal and thought he had hit Marshall at a crucial point while saying:
‘Em you claim your mother’s a crackhead and Kim is a known slut
So what’s Hailie gonna be when she grows up?’

He probably put a lot of intellectual efforts in building this little rhyme, because he is well known for his grammatically weak sentences. Little did you know, Ja Rule, that you would dig your own grave while writing your sarcastic sentence against Hailie. Eminem did not only fire back at you with his whole D12 crew and Obie Trice, Hailie Jade also made fun of you when she asked her amused Dad:
Hailie: ‘Daddy is Ja Rule taller than me? ‘
You guessed the answer:
Eminem: ‘No honey you guys are the same size’
Benzino, who -by the way- is Ja Rule’s ally also dissed Hailie badly. He talked about raping and killing her.
In ‘Die Another Day’, he threatens Hailie’s life, which is more than despicable:
‘Tell Haley it ain’t safe no more (nah)
Daddy better watch yo’ back at the candystore
We Fucked up, resort to plan B
Fuck around she and up like Jon Benet Ramsey (that’s right)
Matter of fact you better check the DNA (what)
She probably ain’t yours, and where’s your wife Kim anyway
She’s on her knees somewhere suckin’ 50 Cent’.

Those four supposedly grown men who dissed Hailie have something in common: their lyrical weakness. They might have dissed Marshall’s daughter verbally, but they were quite unable to make a good lyrical diss. Marshall perfectly knows the weakness of his enemies and he did a particular good job in firing back at them.
Ja Rule’s diss against Hailie has been discussed on many places like public forums, for instance. Many people, even people who are not Eminem lovers expressed how much they were chocked by Ja Rule’s behavior towards Hailie.
One comment attracted my attention, though. A person seemed to be happy because of Hailie’s diss and she said that ‘after all, Marshall was dissing an innocent person like Christopher Reeves’, so she didn’t mind Hailie being dissed. In fact, this person didn’t understand that Eminem’s attack is principally directed against Lynn Cheney’s concept of political correctness much more than against Christopher Reeves himself, as well as his attacks against Britney Spears target the fake world of pop artists in general.
People need to read Eminem’s lyrics between the lines. Eminem has consistant things to say, but people need to take his statements at a second degree to fully get his lyrics.
Any kid in this world is like an angel. Little kids are innocent and candid beings. You can’t touch this, unless being a monster. Hate Marshall, diss him if you don’t lik

Eminem vs Limp Bizkit

You probably all remember those few lines taken out of ‘The Real Slim Shady’:

Shit, Christina Aguilera better switch me chairs
so I can sit next to Carson Daly and Fred Durst
and hear ’em argue over who she gave head to first…

You will probably also remember Fred Durst’s guest appearance in ‘The Real Slim Shady’ video. It goes back to a time where Eminem , Fred Durst and his collaborator DJ Lethal were friends.
Eminem has also collaborated with Fred Durst. The songs ‘Turn Me Loose’ and ‘Our House’ are an example of both men’s collaboration.
How the feud started:
DJ Lethal and Fred Durst were both invited to a TRL Show. Eminem was really upset by a comment DJ Lethal left on the show about Eminem’s beef with Everlast. Dj Lethal first said:
‘They’re both men, they’ll work it out.’
But he added that ‘if the two were to take their differences outside the realm of their respective records’, “Everlast would definitely win, you know what I mean?”
Eminem retaliated with the track ‘Girls’ of the ‘Devil’s Night’ album. On the D12 diss track ‘Quitter’ against Everlast which is also a call for the Eminem fans to fight the rival MC physically. Everlast became Eminem’s enemy in 1999. He claims that Eminem didn’t greet him in Washington DC on purpose while Eminem argues that he didn’t recognise him.
Then Everlast started dissing Eminem and made some indirect but clear allusions to Hailie Jade :

I’ll buck a .380 on ones that act shady,
Let’s take it back to the house/Slide off your blouse/
Lift up your skirt/And expose your painties”
“Cock my hammer, spit a comet like Halley.

Everlast also told a magazine:

If [Eminem] steps to me, I’m gonna break his fuckin’ jaw.

This beef, that was supposed to stay underground, became public, because Eminem had to spit a response, as the excellent battle MC we already know:
“I’m like, I’m an MC, and … I’m not gonna let someone else diss me on a record and not say something back. It’s in my blood; it’s a competition thing.”
(Eminem)
The song ‘Quitter’ is offensive on purpose. Eminem is also a father who won’t let people play with his daughter’s name on a song. He will make his enemies look ridiculous in the public’s eyes. His D12 crew is here to back him during the whole song. Take a look at the lyrics of ‘Quitter’:
“Quitter”

Yo, I dedicate this, to yo…
To all my fans, keeping y’all in health
Let’s tell this Whitey Ford to go fuck himself
Cuz its cruel when you cause a bad heart condition-in
Which I create, cuz that’s my mission
So listen close, to what we say, Because…
This type of fag claims that every gay
I, knew you was jealous from the day that I met you
I upset you, cuz I get respect I bet you
I’m even liked better by your neice and nephew
Now you hate Fred because leathal left you
Peckerwood mad cuz his record went wood
No respect in the hood, led to his neck of the woods
Got in touch with his roots, found a redneck in his blood
And said, “Heck, country western rap records are good!”
So he picks a guitar up and he strums a few notes
He can’t rap, or sing, but he wants to do both
Puts an album out, and rules for part of the year
Then Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit come from out of nowhere
It’s the start of an era, rock rap’s harder this year
No one’s tryin to hear some fuckin old fart in a chair
Sittin on stage, strummin acoustic guitar in your ear
So you start to get scared, sit back and spark an idear
Figured you can diss me to jump start your career
I’ll punch you in your fuckin chest til your heart kicks in gear
Fuck the underground partys, names, his crew
Like I’ma say their names so they can be famous too
[Chorus]
You just a…
Quitter and you bitter cuz I came along
And your days of house of pain are gone
If you talk about my little girl in a song again
I’ma kill you (I’ma kill you)
You just a…
Quitter and you bitter cuz I came along
And your days of house of pain are gone
If you talk about my little girl in a song again
I’ma kill you (I’ma kill you)
Heart attack to stroke from the crack you smoke
To the rap you wrote your fuckin answer back’s a joke
And I’m gonna tell these motherfuckin fans the truth
The reason why you dissed me first and I answered you
You said I passed you in a lobby and I glanced at you
Like I ain’t notice you, bitch, I had a show to do
Like I’m supposed to be starstruck, come over to you
You better shut your fuckin mouth while you 0 for 2
Back in 94 limp opened a show for you
Rocked the crowd better and stole the whole show from you
Took your motherfuckin DJ and stole him too
So you fall in a slump and get all emotional
So now you sing and mix slang with blues and pluck strings
Confused as fuck cuz now your music sucks dick
Mister Mister ass kisser to get accepted in rap
Quicker but never last and Everlast is a…
Quitter and you bitter cuz I came along
And your days of house of pain are gone
If you talk about my little girl in a song again
I’ma kill you (I’ma kill you)
You just a…
Quitter and you bitter cuz I came along
And your days of house of pain are gone
If you talk about my little girl in a song again
I’ma kill you (I’ma kill you)
Aiight look…
So this is what we ask of our fans
If you ever see Everlast, whoop his ass
Hit him with sticks, bricks, rocks, throw shit at him
Kick him, spit on him, treat him like a hoe, bitchslap him
Do it for me, do it for Fred, do it for Limp
Do it for Rock, do it for Rap, do it for Ken
Do it for Ice T, do it just to do it, FUCK IT
He’s a bitch, he ain’t gonna hit you back, he’s nothin
Shit, in five years, we’re all gonna be eating at Whitey’s
And he’ll be busin tables in that bitch, cleaning the toilets
Hey yo…
[Eminem speaks]
Fuck this, cut this shit off. Hey yo, Head.
That’s why I fucked your mother, you fat motherfucker
[Scratching/2 Pac’s “Hit ‘Em Up”]
Kill Whitey, HAHAHA Kill Whitey, DETROIT, WHAT WHAT!
Yo, Yo, look, look, Kill Whitey
First off, fuck your songs and the shit you say
Diss my wife, but at least I got a bitch, you gay
You claim to be a muslum, but you Irish-White
So fuck you, fat boy, drop the mic, let’s fight
Plus I cut you in the chest, weak hearts I rip
Whitey Ford, Forty and White, lethargic ass dick head
I keep em comin while you runnin out of breath
Steady duckin while I’m punchin at your chest, you need to rest
Dialated go ask your people how I leave ya
With your three cds nobody sees, when they released
Evidence, don’t fuck around with real emcees
Who ain’t ready for no underground beef, so fuck geeks
I let you faggots know it’s on for life
But Everlast might die tonight, HAHA
Fat boy murdered on wax and killed
Fuck with me and take a heart pill, YOU KNOW!
[Eminem/Chorus]
Grab 380s when you see Slim Shady
Call the doctor to heal your heart
They shocked you back to life at the clinic
But you bout to get relapsed any minute, honkey I hit ’em up
[Eminem talking…]
HAHAHA, Yo, check this out, you faggots ain’t even on my level.
I’ma let D12 rhyme on you bitch made ass faggots!
[Kon Artis]
Yo, get out the way, yo Get out the way, yo
Whitey Ford’s heart just stopped
Eminem shocked him back, he had another heart attack
Whitey Ford’s gettin his ass floored for talkin back
Little faggot amarillo, I show you what murders are ?
At your own restuarant while I’m servin ya
Drop and stomp your whole heart til it stops
Call the cops, I’ma beat your ass while he walks [in locks?]
[Kuniva]
Now we got the whole industry makin fun of you Eric
Where’s your house of pain now, there’s only one of you Eric
You a petty coward, you ain’t ready to steady go around
With some killers from seven mile to the motherfuckin bellow, bridge
[Eminem/Chorus 2]
Grab 380s when you see Slim Shady
Call the doctor to heal your heart
They shocked you back to life at the clinic
But you bout to get relapsed any minute, honkey I hit ’em up
[Eminem]
Got on his ass and now this faggot want to mention me still
This ain’t no freestyle battle, Everlast gettin killed
With his chest open, tryin to throw a fuckin punch, but you just chokin
Havin a stroke, and now you learn white crackers never earned a dime
Cuz you suck motherfucker you should learn to rhyme
Talkin bout you packin pistols, but it’s funny to me
You ain’t never been in trouble, you just wanna be me

Eric, remember when I passed you in the lobby that day
That shit was obvious you probably was gay, ha

While my sales making records break
2 and a half million scanned by the second week
Mother fucker I hit em up
[D12 and Eminem spit on the next few verses. Proof goes first…]

That’s it. I’m sorry. No more. I’m sorry,
I’m sorry, I promise. I just believe in kicking a man while he’s down.
God DAMN…I quit.
Mention my daughter’s name in a song again, you fucking punk. HEY YO.

DJ Lethal was supposed to be a guest for this song. Eminem ridicules Lethal and Fred Durst in the 19th track ‘Girls’ from the ‘Devil’s Night’ album. He also makes fun of Limp Bizkit’s song ‘Rollin’.
The Eminem / Limp Bizkit feud has been squashed in 2002
A third man, Xzibit has helped to squash the beef between Eminem and Limp Bizkit during the recording of ‘The Eminem Show’ in 2002. He thought that the fued was childish and that’s how Eminem got Fred Durst on the phone.
They even accepted to collaborate on a new track called ‘New World Order’ that was all about the American troops hunting Osama Ben Laden.

Trife thieves

‘Trife thieves’ is a less known song from Bizarre’s ‘Attack Of The Weirdos EP’ and a good example of Eminem’s collaboration with Bizarre.
You can check out the album cover and listen to the track here:
http://sandbox.pair.com/abstract/fr4733.html
The song features MC Fuzz from Detroit.
You won’t find the adjective ‘trife’ in any other dictionnary than a US slang dictionnary. This word is used to describe something or somebody whack. The definition that fits most with ‘trife thieves’ would be ‘that don’t correspond to our standards of approval. The D12 gangsta style is reflected in the whole song: it is scary, filthy funny and politically incorrect as well. Gangsta rap lovers will certainly enjoy the lyrics.
You’d better watch your mouth before trying to battle Bizarre, he is verbally well weaponed to scare you to death:

My fully loaded nine will shoot through your metal door
Have ya nigga’s far and out like white kids at grocery stores (AHHHH)
Battle bizarre and its just to deadly
Even a rapper with amnesia who met me still could forget me…

Eminem’s part is scary as hell. He impersonates the bad guy (as usual) who will end up your life in no time:

I’ll shove a gun in ya grill greasy and heated
smothered in hot mustard
so when I feed it to you it’s easy to eat it
You need to be immediately treated while you breathin
or you’ll be leavin the receivin room this evenin with Jesus…

You will enjoy his dark humor.
Fuzz concludes the song with a filthy part that is fullfilled with humor too. You will probably like this line about Tupac and Canibus:

I’ll send you to tell 2Pac to keep his head up
I went to the fighting really Canibus who can get up…

Trife thieves have introduced you into their crazy, dangerous and dirty world. Enjoy your stay and share their sense of humor.
‘The Attack of the Weirdos’ is good and serious work that is really worth discovering.
Trife Thieves
Trife thieves we can’t be trusted
step into my clique the wrong way
and get your motherfucking dome busted
We got cement shoes for all you damn snitches
We ain’t just shooting niggaz
we buckin bitches
[Bizarre]
My fully loaded nine will shoot through your metal door
Have ya nigga’s far and out like white kids at grocery stores (AHHHH)
Battle bizarre and its just to deadly
Even a rapper with amnesia who met me still could forget me
If I don’t get all my fucking dough
Y’all gonna see more fights and spits then the Jerry Springer show
Cause I’m a nasty, dirty, filthy bitch
But _ even a basshead with AIDS would suck my dick
Cause I’m quick to snatch a nigga out his polo
I’m the reason nigga’s come ten deep and end up leaving solo
Meet losing ya’ll nigga’s must be bugging
We can battle for ten minutes and let your cousins be the judges
I’m the illest rapper to come out thus far
I’ll shoot anybody even the bitch who gave me CPR
Step to the Outz and end up getting burned
Fuck around and get raped like one of Bill Clinton’s interns
[Eminem]
I’ll shove a gun in ya grill greasy and heated
smothered in hot mustard
so when I feed it to you it’s easy to eat it
You need to be immediately treated while you breathin
or you’ll be leavin the receivin room this evenin with Jesus
You hate on us and we’ll be waitin on eight corners swarmin ya hood
With a thousand angry skateboarders (c’mon)
I hop in a jeep and slam on the gas and charge you
and bombard you in the car that your mom bought you
Fuck around and get choked and found in a moat
Flotin around drowned face down in a boat
I’ll pile five dudes in a pinto and pull up
to the 7 Mile drive-through at McDonald’s and piledrive you
I got the power to snatch a motherfucker out of his car
When he drives by me at 90 mph
This place is my house I might as well erase my face with white out
cause y’all can’t see me like Mase’s eyebrows
[Fuzz]
I’m dressed to please sucking nips, yeah, she get it
The same way that I fucked the chick
Stuck my hands in her panties like bitch suck my dick
87 freak 187 heat the passion rolls I’m passing clothes
You like it in the ass is what I’m askin hoes
Aren’t you Fuzz he has sold more albums then the Jackson’s sold
I love you baby if I’m not with you then I’m blastin foes
Telepathly harrasing foes
I know your little sister is four-teen but her ass can grow
Ice-berg took down Titantic elastical
Given my fans the exact shit they asking for
Fuzz Scooter fucking one man bout to show you passing one blunt
Bitch we passing four
I rode your ass and smoked take one pull and smoke your head up
I’ll send you to tell 2Pac to keep his head up
I went to the fighting really Canibus who can get up
I knew this shit was over from the fucking blood that he spit up
Ran a couple more miles should have done more sit-ups
I want his dumb ass to jump up bitch and get lit up
Call your bitch like bitch come and pick this bitch up
On battle you be sweeter then I get this shit up
I’ll stomp you too you get up
Or stomp you to the cops come
Eighty nigga’s came when your fucking block got dumb
[(Chorus) x2

Nathan’s studio: maybe a chance to listen to his music soon?

Two persons are really important in Eminem’s eyes: his little daughter Hailie and his little brother Nathan.
Marshall is a caring and protective brother towards Nate.He is also a good and sensitive person. When he knew a guy was picking on Nate at school when he was 17, he personnaly went to his brother’s school to tell him to stop.
He took time to tell the other kids that violence didn’t solve anything and even stayed to sign them autographs, according to a close friend of his:
http://216.109.117.135/search/cache?p=Nathan+Mathers%27+studio&ei=UTF-8&cop=mss&b=41&u=www.entertainment.lycos.com/celebrities/AMINewsStory.asp%3Fstoryid%3D748793%26op%3DgetArticle&w=nathan+mathers+studio&d=18EA5A87FC&c=483&yc=550&icp=1
Marshall also may have given us a chance to listen to Nathan Mathers’ work soon. He offered a studio to his brother for his 18th birthday. Marshall is Nate’s role model and certainly a huge source of inspiration to him:
“He’s an inspiration to me. We’ve always been very close and when I need help he helps. He got me the equipment I needed to create a studio in my room because he knows I want to do music too”
I would be very curious to know more about Nate’s rap style, if he intends to work solo and do some independant work or if he’d rather work with Marshall and other artists related to Shady Records such as D12, Obie Trice and 50 Cent. Before the release of Nathan’s first album, some of my questions may stay unanswered. If Nathan is as hardworking and as gifted as Marshall, his first album promises to be a huge success.

Emceeing and magic

Would Harry Potter be interesting in the public’s eye if he wasn’t gifted for magic? Honestly, I don’t think so. He’d appear as an annoying teenager who is complexed by his physical appearence. His scar and his glasses would make him look disadvantaged in front of an average teenager.
But the hero of J.K Rowling’s book is gifted for magic and that makes the whole difference. His hidden powers make Harry Potter look like a hero.
You probably wouldn’t be surprised at all if I told you that some people have tried to bridge the most famous wizard with the most famous Mc.
Dr L has written a quite amusing ‘Lose Yourself’ parody that is based on the ‘Lose Yourself’ song:
http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:wapoJL6hzLIJ:www.amiright.com/parody/2000s/eminem143.shtml+eminem+magic+wizard&hl=en&lr=lang_en
Rappers and I’d say battle emcees in particular have a similar role to play: he brings you into a world that you would probably refuse to explore if it wasn’t for your ears and your eyes’ greatest pleasure.
The rapper is an average man from the ghetto who introduces you into his underworld: a hidden place full of colorful words and forbidden actions. He will make you enjoy your stay and sometimes he will take you to real scary places
Many people wouldn’t focus an interest such personalities if it wasn’t for their lyrical abilities.
But being an emcee makes you untouchable, it transforms you into a powerful word wizard.
Kuniva explains it very well:
“Being a rapper in high school was like being one of the X-Men. Like bein’ a mutant with hidden powers, knowin’ you could do something.”
How many times have the D12 wizards taken you to their forbidden world full of drugs and illegal stuff that are related to allday ghetto life? How many times have you felt like being guided by enchantors of a hidden and fantastic universe, the magical ‘313’?
Being a good rapper means being a lyrical master and a sound master as well. You gotta impress your public, you gotta show what your capable of. With his hidden powers, a battle MC will rip his adversary off before he has time to think about what happens to him.
Through his Slim Shady persona, Eminem has shown his hidden powers so many times. To quote Seamus Heaney, Eminem has ‘created a sense of what is possible’ through his powerful lyrics.
Those who have seen Eminem rapping on stage know how much he masters his art and appears as a powerful word wizard. The atmosphere is quite magical, because the mic is blessed by the greatest MC on the planet.
Other MC’s like the Detroit underground MC Lazarus are quite impressing too and they will show you their mastery of their art if you are willing to listen to them.
Rappers are the kings and the heros of a world that is usually despised by middle class and rich people. They have the power to make it appear in a new light with their magic wand: the mic. They will keep you in admiration in front of their verbal dexterity and their mental imagery. Their talent will make you envy them and wanna be language masters like them. Don’t be confused by the frequent use of some colorful words: it will make the text look spicier and make you feel the reality of a rapper’s magical world.

DJ Graffiti

DJ Graffiti aka Martin Smith is a Michigan MC from Ann Arbor. He calls himself ‘the underground mixtape king of Michigan’.
Martin Smith grew up in Oak Park and West Bloomfield. He graduated at Bloomfield High School in 1996.
His nickname ‘DJ Graffiti’ comes from the lyrics he wrote. About his own lyrics, he says: ‘I spray mentals like lyrical graffiti.’
He is certainly a perfectionnist, who is known for his quality mixtapes:
‘My goal is to create projects that sound better, look more professional and reach farther than those currently available. It’s not about competition, but I know that if my focus is always on bringing something improved to the table, I won’t be taking steps backwards.’
DJ Graffiti attented the business school at Michigan University. He wants to be a positive influence for the hip hop community. Djing is his real passion: ‘I enjoy mixtapes and I do a lot of different things. My passion is the Djing, that’s my love.’
Groups from Detroit like Slum Village and DJ Butter have collaborated with DJ Graffiti who has also performed as a jazz percussionist in the Montreaux Detroit jazz Festival.
Also very active at the campus events, he used to be a DJ there: ‘I started Djing my first year in College. You din’t have events going on in West Bloomfield. As soon as I got turntables, I was off and runnning.’
He also used to make some guest appearences at the hip hop show on the campus radio station WCBN-FM (88.3).
In 2004, DJ Graffiti has released his tape ‘Bling Free, Vol.3’.
There is a message in DJ Graffiti’s ‘Bling Free’ series. DJ Graffiti envisions a hip hop community that would be self sufficient:
‘Right now, most of the major influences on the Hip Hop generation are fed corporately from the outside. Ultimately, I envision a Hip Hop community that is extremely self-sufficient. We will have a united front of individuals who were born into Hip Hop culture ‘ Hip Hop lawyers, Hip Hop doctors, Hip Hop teachers and Hip Hop owners all working together. I feel all of the different things I do are necessary for moving the current state of Hip Hop toward a point where it is Bling Free. That’s where it shines on its own.”
You will discover more about the artist on his official website:

Detroit Mc Lazarus

Have you ever heard about Detroit Mc Lazarus?
If your answer is no, don’t worry. A few days ago, I didn’t know about him either.
Kamran Rasheed Khan aka Lazarus was born between Deaborn and Detroit on July the 17th 1982. He was born in America from Pakistanese parents.
He is a gifted rapper who brings in a new Detroit sound.
You gotta love this MC, because he’s a 100% authentic and skilled MC.
I have watched him in a freestyle battle and I felt like being brought back to the hot atmosphere of the 8 Mile battles.
Kamran Rasheed Khan’s nickname Lazarus is linked with resurrection and power. Lazarus’ voice will help to do away with many stereotypes that people have about Islamic people and religion. His album is another argument in favor of a multicultural society and a constant fight against racism. As he states it in his video ‘Lazarus, the birth of a Legend’, he came to break stereotypes. His words also target President Bush who seems to consider each man from the Middle East as a potential terrorist.
Lazarus will impress you with his lyrics, because you will feel a similar verbal explosion that you can feel while listening to Eminem. His rapid flow and the way he handles words and sentences is impressing.
You will learn more about him on his official website where you will be able to download some of his music:
http://www.lazarus-detroit.com/music.php
Remember this name: Lazarus. He’s the new revelation in hip hop.

Detroit Mc Dogmatic

You wanna hear a real and typical sound from Detroit?
Then listen to underground MC Dogmatic, because his sound and his lyrics are representative from the Detroit underground. His collaboration with MC Big Proof of D12 will give you a full Detroit flavor. Both Mc’s collaboration is called “Promatic”. The “Promatic” album, which was released in 2002 is all about weed , extasy, guns and real life problems. You will find topics Eminem talked about in songs like “Rock Bottom”. Life is exposed in its harshness.
Both Mc’s are representative of Detroit, as Promatic points it out:
“When you think of Detroit we should be two of the first MC’s outta everybody’s mouth. I think that me and Proof, we’re not like the average MC that just popped up over the past 2-3 years, we’ve been layin it out for Detroit long enough.”
Dogmatic used to live in the 313 for 10 years:
I have my own history as an MC in the city, I’ve been rappin just as long as, if not longer than, Eminem and D12. If you’re from Detroit, or if you know your Detroit history, you know I’m one of those MC’s that’s been in the underground for 10 years.”
Formerly known as K- Stone, Dogmatic has released an album called “313” in 1994.
The lyrics of “Take No Shorts” from the “Promatic album” will give you a taste of Dogmatic’s collaboration with Proof:
Hook 1]
What you all about
(?) call out
Knock’em all out
Real niggaz pull your mouth out
Punch your grill in
How you feelin this is our house
Dumb nigga, what you thinkin ’bout
[Hook 2]
SICK NOTES TAKES NO SHORTS FROM NO-ONE
SICK NOTES TAKES NO SHORTS FROM NO-ONE
[Bakarak]
Niggaz don’t wanna get me pissed
Have you waving at your people without no wrist
Only Nigga you know won’t drink chrizz
For dumb niggaz I got 2 sticks and fists
It ain’t a crew out there that could fuck with this
I’m Devilsish, like demon
Quick to bust guns and a semem
Aint childish rapper with all that blingin
My style ain’t gonna switch from rap to singin
But I might rap a strangle
Any rap nigga I’m angle get buried
Give a fuck if he got kids and married
Shit trien to make my day, like my name was Dirty Harry
If the industry was a movie, I’ll make the game scary
First nigga to put the world in the bitchuary
I’m the type to beat you in the face with sticks like drums and it’ll
sound like (Uh Uh Uh!)
(Hook 1)
[Jus Bounce]
First off, my flows is crucial
And the brain sergeon sayed I had the nerves to shoot you
Catch you in the street and front you out
(????????) stomp you out
I’m crazy in the mouth like pac and juice
Catch you at the liquor store, cock and let loose
Make your face resemble a fruit loop
Have you (???????)
Trien’ to tempt me is risky, mighty gutsy
Ask Dstout about Puffy
So when I tell you this shit trust me
Its not in your best intrest
To be on my shitlist
Its really senceless
They get beat senceless
Change your name and relocate the menthous
The only way they know who you is, is by the dentist
(Hook 1)
(Hook 2)
[Dogmatic]
Fo’ real, I’m the first nigga to yell ‘313’
Since 19 mother fucking 93
Check my stats, I’m comin all over the track
Smack you in the back with some 8 Mile matic attack
Shit I killed K-Stone, as a matter a fact
We ain’t forgot, Sicknotes shit be hot
I’m wide open like a spot you must be smoke rocks to the bit in that you
can stop the matic from reachin top
Beat you with a sock, stuff the combination locks
If I ever saw trien to open my lock
Kevin’s all stock, nothin unofficial
You can never catch me without the clip in my pistol
[Proof]
Power and PAM publics position
Proof beside pioneers, poetic prison
Pin point periodic poison playin Picasso so
Perfect punk and perverted pust poe
Playin punished shit to peers, or any prick
Passively push pain, punks panic and run frantic
Don’t giva a fuck like minni small whores
Stick a mic in your paw like the dog wars
For the last B Boys skip here like astroids
Skip up on your crew, 1 by 1, blast you boys
Set the pool on fire (???????)
This year alot of bitch ass MC’s gonna die-a
(Hook 1)
(Hook 2)

About his encounter and collaboration with Proof, Dogmatic says:
“Detroit’s not that big, as far as rappin there’s only a couple of clubs, and Proof has always been an innovative MC, he’d network with so many rappers and different crews, that’s sorta how me and Proof got cool.”
You gotta like this stuff, because it is real and related to the Detroit ghetto life.
